Papou Michalis Farmhouse is more than a place to stay

It is a traditional farmhouse accommodation in Crete, offering an authentic stay on our family farm and a true connection to Cretan land, food, and everyday life.

Named after my grandfather Michalis, the farmhouse stands on the same soil he cultivated with care, patience, and respect for nature. Papou Michalis believed that good food, honest work, and a table shared with family and friends bring true happiness. These values continue to guide everything we do today.

The farmhouse is located within our family farm, surrounded by olive trees, seasonal vegetables, and local herbs. Guests are invited to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the simple beauty of Cretan life — just as our grandfather lived it.

The house is arranged over two levels, offering comfort and privacy. The first floor includes a living room, kitchen, and bathroom, opening onto a spacious balcony where guests can enjoy open views and beautiful sunsets over the Cretan landscape. Upstairs, the bedroom and a second bathroom create a calm and restful sleeping space.

Blending modern comfort with traditional character, Papou Michalis Farmhouse is designed using warm textures, and soft light. The atmosphere reflects a modern Cretan farmhouse, rooted in tradition while offering all the essentials for a relaxed stay.

This is not luxury in excess, but luxury in meaning — quiet mornings, fresh air, open skies, and the feeling of staying in a real family home.

House Rules

1. Check-in: from 14:00
2. Check-out: by 11:00
3. The farmhouse accommodates up to 4 guests.
4. Please respect the space, the surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere of the farm.
5. Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
6. Pets are allowed upon request, as there are resident dogs on the farm. We kindly ask for prior communication to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all animals.
7. Please take care of the furniture and equipment as if it were your own home.
8. We kindly ask guests to respect nature, animals, and farm areas
9. Free parking is available on the property.

This is not just a place to stay, but a space to slow down and experience life on the farm.

• Minimum stay: 2 nights.
• Price starts from €120 per night.
• The base rate applies to 2 guests
• Children policy:
  1. Children up to 2 years old stay free of charge.
  2. Children aged 3–12 years are accommodated at a reduced rate.
  3. Guests aged 13 and above are considered adults.

If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before your stay, you will be fully refunded. Cancellations less than 48 hours before your stay will not be refunded.
