We, Cretan Vibes, understand and respects the importance of protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us, in respect of your relationship with us as a customer or a potential customer. This information may be collected via our website, our questionnaires/surveys, or our social media channels (collectively, our “Services”).

You are responsible for ensuring that the other people that you are acting on behalf of (such as those included with you on a booking), are aware of the content of this Privacy Policy and you have checked with them that they agree to their personal data being given to us to make a booking or other purchase on their behalf.
By making a booking or other purchase or otherwise giving your personal data to us, we will transfer, store or process it as set out below. We will take all reasonably necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- When you make a booking or enquiry we will ask you for your name, e-mail address, telephone number. We need to collect this information in order to arrange the experiential tours you are requesting.
- When you request to make a booking, depending on the arrangements you ask us to make for you, we will ask if you have any special requirements. You may give us information concerning dietary requirements, medical /health conditions, disabilities, race or religion. This information is referred to as special categories of personal data and when you give us this information we’ll use it to try and ensure your particular needs in relation to a booking are met. If you do not want to provide this information to us, or after you have provided us with this information you ask us to stop processing this information, it may mean we won’t be able to provide all or parts of the services you have requested. If we have to cancel your booking/purchase as a result, you may incur a cancellation charge.
- If you enter a competition or promotion, complete a survey, or if you give feedback on any of our Services, we will collect your email address,your nationality, your age, your sex and any other personal information you choose to give us.
- We may ask to see and retain a copy of passport details and other identification documents if, for example, you are purchasing foreign currency or completing a money transfer.
- When you contact us online, we may keep a record of your e-mail or other correspondence, and if you call us by telephone, we may monitor and/or record phone conversations for customer service reasons.
- If, when using our Services, you make a search on our website (www.cretanvibes.com) and you enter or provide any of your personal data (including telephone number or e-mail address), but do not make a booking or other purchase, we will keep and use the data you’ve provided for a limited time and purpose, as mentioned below.
- If, you subscribe to our website, you provide your consent to receiving emails regarding our new services, offers, discounts and blog posts. Your email and subscriber’s information will be stored in a safety place, and can be deleted whenever you want to.
- When you enter our website, you are immediately informed about our cookie policy. We use cookies for analytics and marketing purposes (more info can be found below).

Based on your activity on our website and social media channels, we collect the following personal data about you:
- We collect details of your visits to our Site and Social media (including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data and weblogs) whether this is required for our own purposes or otherwise, and of the resources that you access. We use third party technology services, such as Google Analytics to administer these services.
- We collect details of website(s) you visited before you use a link to our Site, pages visited in our Site, and time spent on each page.
- We may collect information about your computer (or mobile device/tablet) including, where available, your IP address, operating system, device location, browser type, cookie identification numbers, for system administration purposes, marketing purposes (both our own, and third party advertisers for whom we provide advertising services) and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and any reports we share do not identify any individuals.
- Images of you taken during your participation in our experiential tours or you have uploaded in yours social media.
We keep in our records and process the following data: Name, Email, Age, Sex, Nationality, Mobile number when you come in contact with us (for instance when you subscribe in our newsletter or book one of our tours or send us email or chatting us).
When you give your personal data to us, we keep it safe in our database. Some of the personal data you provide will need to be given to and processed and stored by relevant third parties. These third parties include:
- our technology and data management partners who help us to administer the services we provide (such as Digital partners who support how we manage our social media activity);
- our contact centre (including ‘live chat’) who provide services to support customer bookings and enquiries or are responsible to send you newsletters of Cretan Vibes;
- Banks that help us to process payments customers make to us for their tours purchases;
In order for you to travel overseas, we may be required to disclose certain of your personal data to government bodies or other authorities in the UK and in other countries, such as those responsible for immigration, border control, law enforcement, security and anti-terrorism.
Even if it is not mandatory for us to provide information to such authorities, we may exercise our discretion to assist them where appropriate in the interests of detecting and preventing criminal activity.
Where practical, we will collect personal information directly from you. Generally, this collection will occur when you deal with us either in person, by telephone, letter, facsimile, email, when you visit our website or social media. We may collect personal information about you when you purchase or make enquiries about our experiential tours or other products and services, when you enter competitions, when you register for promotions, when you subscribe to receive marketing from us (e.g. e-newsletters) or when you request brochures or other information from us. We may also collect your personal information when you complete surveys or provide us with feedback.
With your registration to our services, you also consent to the storing and use of your personal data, according to this Declaration. We are allowed to process your personal data, in order to provide personalized services, according to the law (article 6(1b) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Your personal data are not used for other purposes, apart from what it is described in this Declaration, except if we receive your prior permission, or except if something like that is required or is allowed by the law.
The purpose of the collection, use and processing of your personal data, is (a) to provide the services you request through the website or direct communication with our personnel, for the receipt of which their use or/and process is required, e.g. online bookings of tours and activities and the consequent implementation of the contractual obligations, in order to execute, deliver and invoice of orders under the best conditions and with the most effective way, (b) the promotion of the services provided from Cretan Vibes and especially through www.cretanvibes.com, (c) the provision of personalized services and the facilitation of the service execution process, aiming to the facilitation of the visitor and / or ensuring that the content of the website is presented to the most effective way for you and your devices, (d) to send you informative messages/ emails/ newsletters related to services or/and related offers or/and announcements or/and news.
Cretan Vibes collects “sensitive” personal data only when you offer voluntarily those data or when these data are required or their collection is allowed by the law. We advise you to abstain from providing sensitive data, except if this is required for the purpose of your booking or if you hereby consent with the use of these data from Cretan Vibes for its purposes.
If you have made an enquiry or purchase on our Site, your personal data may be used by us in the ways the law allows, to contact you by post, electronic means (e-mail or text message) and/or by phone with information and offers relating to products or services that you can book/purchase from Cretan Vibes. We will only do this if you did not opt out of such marketing at the point where we collected your contact details.
If you have not made an enquiry or purchase, we will only send you information, offers and our news by e-mail or text message if you sign up (opt in) to receive our newsletter.
You will only receive marketing communications about those which we think are relevant to you.
To try and ensure that our marketing communications and advertising are relevant to you, we work with third parties to offer a better experience to customers and potential customers. Using new technologies and with the help of cookies,our digital expert and marketing activation platforms, we may use your personal information to try to ensure any marketing communications we send to you are offering products or services likely to be of interest to you..

Where you’ve made a booking or other purchase or subscribe in our newsletter or contacts with us, your personal information will be retained to ensure we provide the best possible customer service to you. We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for us to use your data as set out in this Privacy Policy. This will generally be for up to 7 years in relation to bookings/purchases, or 3 years since you last engaged with us after receiving a marketing communication, or such other time that may be required for our legal and audit purposes or that is required by law.

Cretan Vibes offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

To secure a seat in one of our cooking classes you must make a full payment in advance. Once the booking is processed and funds are cleared an email confirming the booking including details of the event will be sent to the participant.
Payments can be made through direct bank deposit. All prices quoted in this website are taxes (VAT) inclusive.
Cretan Vibes reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an event for any reason. If an event is cancelled then all participants will be notified within 48 hours of the commencement date for the event and have the option to reschedule to another event or receive a full refund.
In the circumstances that a participant needs to cancel their booking ,then then the following will apply:
- If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the event, you will be fully refunded.
- If you cancel your booking in less than 48 hours before the event, you will not be refunded.
All events run by Cretan Vibes will start on time.
All participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their allocated session time.
If a participant is late for an event, it is their responsibility to catch up with the rest of the participants and to minimize disruption to others.
By agreeing to these Terms of Use, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

When participating in our experiential cooking classes, you acknowledge and agree that you will be using sharp or dangerous tools associated with a kitchen environment. You understands these terms and conditions and accepts the inherent risks of a kitchen environment when they make a full payment for a scheduled event.
In no case shall Cretan Vibes, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.
