We carefully designed this tour for travelers who wish to experience Crete through the eyes of a real local family.

Your journey begins with an engaging walking tour through our family’s olive groves and greenhouses. As we explore the farm, you’ll discover the secrets of olive cultivation, the meticulous process of harvesting, and the traditional methods we use to produce our family’s extra virgin olive oil.You will also learn how local families cultivate their greenhouses, the variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits we grow, and why these fresh products are so important not only for Crete, but also for the metropolitan markets of Greece.We are always excited to share these stories, traditions, and techniques with you!

During the tour, you will enjoy a premium olive oil tasting, where we teach you how to recognize the aromas and qualities of real extra virgin olive oil, and how the harvesting method and processing can influence the quality.To complete the experience, we show you a short behind-the-scenes video of our own olive harvest, so you can see exactly how our olives are collected and pressed — from tree to bottle.

The walking tour concludes in a peaceful outdoor space beneath a beautiful wooden roof, surrounded by olive trees on one side and a lush garden on the other. Here, you’ll meet my lovely mother, Mama Stella, and enjoy authentic homemade Cretan food prepared by her with love.Of course, a meal in Crete is never complete without a little Raki — an essential part of our Cretan spirit and hospitality! You may even have the chance to meet more members of our family.

A highlight of this experience is watching Mama Stella demonstrate how she crafts traditional Cretan cheese, followed by a tasting of her freshly made delicacy.The entire tour lasts approximately 2.5-3 hours.Our sincere desire is for you to become part of our world and immerse yourself in the true, authentic way of Cretan living!

3. We are going to walk into olive groves and fields, so it may be more comfortable for you to wear shoes instead of sandals or flip-flops
4. Children must be accompanied by an adult
5. Minimum drinking age is 18 years old
6. You can present either the receipt from your deposit or your electronic voucher for this activity
7. The minimum number of participants for this tour is 2 persons
8. We can accept different bookings until the minimum number of participants is reached. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the event may be cancelled.

1. If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the event, you will be fully refunded. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the event will not be refunded.
2. If the minimum number of participants is not reached (2 persons) we are going to notify you at least 24 hours before the event takes place. In this case we can either reschedule or proceed to a full refund.
