We... read more got so much out of it - not just learning how to cook a few different dishes, but also about Cretan cuisine and most importantly, about Cretan culture.

We cooked and spent time as family would, and it was such a wonderful exposure to the Greek culture. They were all so hospitable, sharing knowledge and kindness. My kids felt at home and it was so lovely seeing how even her grandmother interacted with everyone.

Highly recommend this experience, especially if you're interested in understanding the people and culture.

So much fun! It was a night of good food and good company with lots of food to take home. We were really impressed with Marianna's warmth and kindness. She's created really a unique experience for the traveler to Crete. Kudos to Marianna!
